Annie B. Wells Campus

The Annie B. Wells Campus in Monticello, Arkansas is located on 45 acres of timberland. It has grown from one building in 1923 to seven homes, a gym, an on-site school, computer lab, a pavilion and a low ropes course for outdoor activities. Vera Lloyd is licensed to serve youth as young as 6, but most youth on campus are 13 to 17 years of age. All youth on campus are in state custody and have been removed from their homes due to issues of abuse or neglect or are returning home after spending time in the juvenile justice system.
