A church professional may contact the Schmidt Center by phone or e-mail to seek help with mental health issues in the congregation or with a particular parishioner.
Individual Counseling
Couple’s Counseling |

The LSC provides counseling to individuals, couples and families in both Little Rock and El Dorado.
Church professionals may call the LSC for assistance in finding a mental health professional in their geographic area.
This publication is provided monthly to anyone who wishes to be included on our mailing list.
| Preparation for Ministry Package |

This package includes a diagnostic interview; personality, career and Emotional Intelligence testing; three counseling sessions; a final assessment and a written report.
Life Discernment and Career
Assessment Package |

This package is beneficial for those individuals who are questioning their call, facing mid-life/mid-career challenges, and/or for those seeking direction in the 2nd half or last chapters of their years of active ministry. This includes a diagnostic interview, 3 sessions of spiritual direction, career and personality inventories, career evaluation and counseling, a final assessment and written report.

This package includes a diagnostic interview, the Taylor-Johnson Temperament Analysis, and 3 Counseling Sessions to review test results and develop tools to address possible problem areas.
| Emotional Intelligence |
$125 |
This package covers testing and assessment, scoring and a written reports. Clients who take this test should also be prepared to pay for two individual sessions (one session prior to taking the test and another to review the results)
Customized Retreats and Programs for Congregations and Governing Bodies
The Laurence Schmidt Center offers retreats and programs geared towards the special needs of congregations and governing bodies. Fees for this service vary depending on the time and travel involved. Topics for these services include:
Pastoral Care Training for lay leaders/officers
Conflict Management and Resolution
Education and Training for Mandated Reporters of Abuse of Children or Elderly/Disabled Individuals
| Support Groups |
$25/Session |
Support Groups are currently offered at $25/session. However individuals who sign up for groups are financially responsible for each month’s session. For example, Clergy Support Groups meet for five months. If an individual signs up for group, they are financially responsible for all 5 sessions whether they attend all sessions or not.

Covenant Agreement Packages
Covenant Agreements are annual agreements for local congregations, districts, and/or for an entire Presbytery, Conference or Diocese. Services are offered for each member covered and every member of their immediate family.
NOTE:
The Laurence Schmidt Center does not file insurance. Clients may request an invoice for services provided. Your invoice will contain all the necessary information to file for reimbursement from your insurance provider
