CHURCH AND PW GROUP OPPORTUNITIES
Vera Lloyd Presbyterian Home & Family Services, Inc. is a service agency of the Synod of the Sun PCUSA. Our campus is located in the Presbytery of the Pines. Our executive offices are located in the Presbytery of Arkansas.
We rely on the generous support of churches throughout the Synod. We are happy to provide a speaker for classes or church events, a Minute for Mission, or help with any special request. Add Vera Lloyd to your mission budget. Your gifts – in any amount – help to support the children, youth and families we serve and are critical to our ability to make a difference in their lives.
Sponsor a Vera Lloyd Youth Home. Expand your outreach by including Vera Lloyd youth in your ministry. Build relationships with the youth, develop opportunities to learn – and share – with each other. Some churches plan monthly activities, some quarterly. All are blessed beyond expectation. Sponsor an Activity – On or Off Campus. Sponsor a special dinner at one of the homes, a trip to the zoo or a museum; sponsor a group to go to a movie and pizza, or bring a group of youth to your community for a parade, to swim in the summer or just for a fun outing. The possibilities are unlimited!
Work Group Opportunities. There are always special projects on campus that need a helping hand! Some require simple carpenter skills, painting skills, yard work and landscaping skills, or just an ability and willingness to work hard.
